A reusable framework or injector that adds VR support to one or more games. A community profile for UEVR, the universal injector for Unreal Engine games. You install UEVR once, then load this profile to play this game in VR.

Notes from legaiaflame

4 Different Camera Angles: - Default-View, First-Person View, 3rd-Person View, Pikul/Vuscav/Flammie-Riding View. To begin make sure within the UEVR menu/Runtime to hit Recenter View, so your view becomes full center. - The Views are bound to keyboard keys combined with Spacebar. Default-View is set to 'A'. First-Person is set to 'A' combined with 'Spacebar'. 3rd-Person is set to 'S' combined with 'Spacebar' and Pikul-Riding View is set to 'D' combined with 'Spacebar'. - Once you hit 'Spacebar' to go to First-Person, you just keep it on and toggle on or off the other views with the A,S, and D keys. Viewing Story Cutscenes: (Default-View) - Whenever there is a Story Cutscene you can just press Spacebar to toggle off the First-Person View or hit 'A'. Then when the cutscene is over just press 'Spacebar' again to go back into First-Person. - Default view is also good for a completely zoomed out battle view (in case you want to view the CS moves). First-Person View: - Set the view up with 'A' then hit 'Spacebar' to activate it. First-person was attached to Main/Common Objects/PlayerController/'Attach Camera to', and the camera was fixed and adjusted manually. You can toggle it on and off switching back and forth to the Default-View. If First-Person Stops Working (Workaround): The first half of the game, after certain cutscenes or transitioning between the towns and the field, the First-Person View will unhook. This sucks but you actually have to keep going back into the UEVR menu, going down to 'main' and re-attach to /Common Objects/PlayerController/ and hit 'Attach Camera to'. If you can't see the Uobject Hook/'main' option, make sure 'Show advance options' is checked in the upper left-hand corner of the UEVR menu. And lastly if first-person isn't working upon startup just go to config within the UEVR menu and it will re-initiate and you can also select 'Enable at Startup' and the first-person will automatically be turned on when you start the game. But, It seems like once you get to Ledgas Bay/Pritta Ridge, where you get Palamena (Just about halfway through the game.) the First-Person hook is more stable and won't unhook any longer. 3rd-Person View: - Set the view up with 'S' then hit 'Spacebar' to activate it. This is good if you want a slightly drawn back, over-the-shoulder view of your character. And is good if you actually want to see your character in battle. Default view is also good for a completely zoomed out battle view (in case you want to view the CS moves). Pikul/Vuscav/Flammie-Riding View: - Set the view up with 'D' then hit 'Spacebar' to activate it. This view is great for when you get your Pikul mount and start riding across the field! It feels like you're actually sitting on top and looking out past his ears! Hold X to stop riding and LB+X to call him with the bell. Once you get Vuscav the turtle and start riding across the Ocean, this view works great as well as it feels like you are right on top of his shell holding on for dear life as he paddles like a speedboat! And lastly, the view is even better for riding Flammie through the sky! Feels like The NeverEnding Story as you ride on top of his back grabbing his fur!

Installing a UEVR profile

Every community UEVR profile installs the same way. If you have used one, you have used them all.

  1. Install UEVR itself from uevr.io. It is free, and it is a separate program from the profile: the profile is just settings.
  2. Download the profile from the creator's page linked above. It is a .zip.
  3. Start the game, then open the UEVR frontend and select the game's process from the list.
  4. Import the profile with the frontend's import option. UEVR keeps per-game settings in %APPDATA%\UnrealVRMod\<game executable name>.
  5. Inject. Once you are in VR, press Insert (or L3+R3 on a controller) to open the in-game menu and adjust anything that looks wrong.

If a profile misbehaves, delete that game's folder under %APPDATA%\UnrealVRMod\ and import it again from scratch.

Player reviews

Player opinion, separate from the quality label above. That label is our reading of what a method does; these are other people's experience of actually running it.

Freshness depends on reports from people who actually ran it.
