A mod added to the existing PC game to enable VR. A dedicated VR mod built for this one game. These are normally the best experiences, because controls, menus and comfort were designed for VR rather than injected.

Controls and VR features
The creator documents tracked hands and physical interaction with weapons, magazines, charging handles, holsters, bolts, grenades, objects, the PDA, and menus. Movement supports smooth thumbstick locomotion or teleportation, with hand-based ladder climbing.
Requirements and installation
Use a clean install of the original PC release of S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl on game build 1.0006, plus the required OGSR Engine files. Back up the game first, extract the official release into the game folder allowing required files to be replaced, and launch Start_STALKERVR.exe. Do not substitute the Enhanced Edition; compatibility is not established.
Compatibility and limitations
Meta Quest Link and SteamVR are documented. The developer's primary test headset is Quest 3S; PCVR Central has not independently tested the mod. If you move far from the center of the play space, body alignment and movement near walls can become awkward. Use the in-game Recenter Body function. A lower-performance PC mode is available.
