Setup notes
Quake PCVR is the desktop OpenXR version of Team Beef's QuakeQuest. It runs Quake, both mission packs, and all four official episodes from a PC instead of requiring the standalone Quest/Pico APK. The release does not include game data, so you need your own Quake files from Steam or GOG.
Download the v1.0 release, extract it, run Setup.bat once, then start your OpenXR runtime and run Quake VR.bat. Setup copies the game data and expansions it finds, and Python plus Pillow generate the menu artwork. The project was developed and tested with a Quest 3 over Virtual Desktop (VDXR); SteamVR and the Oculus runtime expose OpenXR too, but are not documented as tested by the author.
The PC build adds supersampling, anti-aliasing, particle/blood style, a door Z-fighting fix, HUD height, desktop mirror modes, and a borderless fullscreen mirror that can be toggled with Alt+Enter.
