Jean-Francoi's UEVR profile
for Halo: Campaign Evolved · by Jean-Francois · released 30 Aug 2026
A reusable framework or injector that adds VR support to one or more games. A community profile for UEVR, the universal injector for Unreal Engine games. You install UEVR once, then load this profile to play this game in VR.
Notes from Jean-Francois
HEAD AIMING "Luke Ross" style profile for Halo Campaign Evolved v2.1 - Both HMD and right stick control the aiming reticle. Just aim the target with your head, and shoot - Designed to play seated with Xbox controller (no head bobbing) - Fluid rendering because the camera is moved primarily by the Xbox controller - Forked from the excellent @NitsuJack mod - kudos - Cutscenes still display doubled. Closing one eye makes them watchable (might be solved in a future UEVR nightly). - NEW: improved graphics sharpening / AA in CVars (* TRY IT *), better scene detection for warthog / wraith / turret - Turn OFF HDR on your Windows desktop (if applies) before entering the game Notes: - Tested on Praydog's latest nightly with SteamVR (OpenXR mode). NOTE: stereo fix no longer required in latest nightly - If the colors are off, please remove the line Renderer_r.Tonemapper.Sharpen=10.000000 in cvars_data.txt or use the v2 profile above

Installing a UEVR profile
Every community UEVR profile installs the same way. If you have used one, you have used them all.
- Install UEVR itself from uevr.io. It is free, and it is a separate program from the profile: the profile is just settings.
- Download the profile from the creator's page linked above. It is a
.zip. - Start the game, then open the UEVR frontend and select the game's process from the list.
- Import the profile with the frontend's import option. UEVR keeps
per-game settings in
%APPDATA%\UnrealVRMod\<game executable name>. - Inject. Once you are in VR, press
Insert(orL3+R3on a controller) to open the in-game menu and adjust anything that looks wrong.
If a profile misbehaves, delete that game's folder under
%APPDATA%\UnrealVRMod\ and import it again from scratch.
