Dedicated VR modPCVRExperimentalActive

A mod added to the existing PC game to enable VR. A dedicated VR mod built for this one game. These are normally the best experiences, because controls, menus and comfort were designed for VR rather than injected.

Setup notes

Test build and requirements

Grim Dawn VR v0.3.2 is explicitly labelled a test build. It requires the 64-bit Steam game in DirectX 11 mode, SteamVR set as the active OpenXR runtime and a PCVR headset. Expansions are optional. Follow the linked install guide; the launcher backs up saves and applies separate VR settings.

Controls and limits

The mod renders the world in stereo with head tracking. Controller lasers point at the UI as mouse pointers; the documented Index setup also uses thumbstick movement and ordinary keyboard/game UI actions. It is not a physical melee-combat conversion. Other controllers may use SteamVR bindings but are not established as tested. Quality remains unrated.

Player reviews

Player opinion, separate from the quality label above. That label is our reading of what a method does; these are other people's experience of actually running it.

Spotted a problem, or played this yourself?

Freshness depends on reports from people who actually ran it.
