Dedicated VR modPCVRPlayableActive

A mod added to the existing PC game to enable VR. A dedicated VR mod built for this one game. These are normally the best experiences, because controls, menus and comfort were designed for VR rather than injected.

Setup walkthroughs

Community research

The v1.0 package provides several render modes, head tracking, VR cutscenes and both first- and third-person play. It uses original keyboard/gamepad controls; a Quest 3 user reported a black edge caused by aspect-ratio mismatch, and some scenes may need Mono fallback.

Evidence checked: Current v1.0 release, creator installation/controls/performance notes and open Quest 3 issue #1 reviewed.

Known limitations

  • Gamepad/keyboard controls only; no motion-controller aiming or roomscale.
  • First-person view is experimental; traditional third-person remains available.
  • Some scenes/conversations may freeze in stereo; switch to Mono and restore VR afterward.
  • Quest 3 issue reports a black lower edge/aspect-ratio problem.
