FF7 Remake VR
for FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE INTERGRADE · by Gilleece · released 8 Oct 2026
A mod added to the existing PC game to enable VR. A dedicated VR mod built for this one game. These are normally the best experiences, because controls, menus and comfort were designed for VR rather than injected.

Supported version and storefronts
The current FF7 Remake VR release is v1.5 for Windows 10/11 and Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade build 1.0.0.7. The project lists Steam, Epic and Microsoft Store editions, but only Steam is documented as tested. It uses an OpenXR runtime. NVIDIA hardware is needed only for the optional foveated-rendering path.
View and controls
Exploration switches to first-person, then combat returns to third-person. The mod uses standard game-controller input and does not add tracked motion-controller input. Follow the release's installer choice and setup instructions rather than mixing package variants. Quest 3 and Pico 4 Ultra are maintainer-listed tests; wider compatibility is not established here.
