DLVR for Dying Light
for Dying Light · by Mamfro · released 9 Oct 2026
A mod added to the existing PC game to enable VR. A dedicated VR mod built for this one game. These are normally the best experiences, because controls, menus and comfort were designed for VR rather than injected.

Alpha status and installation
This listing covers the original Dying Light only. DLVR is a pre-alpha game pack; its v0.3.0 release requires Monaka VR v0.2.0. Keep the pack/runtime versions paired. The README supports Steam versions and says online/co-op is unsupported.
Input and game settings
Motion controllers emulate gamepad input while the player's hands follow the controllers; aiming can be head- or controller-based. For the original game, disable NVIDIA HBAO+, depth of field and PCSS shadows as specified in the README. The project labels the original game's integration Alpha. Dying Light 2 and The Beast have separate pre-alpha integrations and are not covered by this entry.

Player reviews
Player opinion, separate from the quality label above. That label is our reading of what a method does; these are other people's experience of actually running it.
