Dedicated VR modPCVRExcellentActive

A mod added to the existing PC game to enable VR. A dedicated VR mod built for this one game. These are normally the best experiences, because controls, menus and comfort were designed for VR rather than injected.

Supported game and installation

The v1.6 release supports the 32-bit PC game Blur version 1.2 from Steam with ZOOM Platform updates, or GOG. It requires Windows 10/11 and a Vulkan-capable GPU. Extract the release into the game directory and run its installer batch file.

VR and controls

The mod provides seated stereo views, head tracking in cockpit and chase cameras, and a floating menu screen. Driving uses keyboard, mouse, gamepad or wheel controls; motion-controller driving is not added. SteamVR is the default runtime; a 32-bit OpenXR path is also documented. The developer reports testing on Valve Index, not a broad headset matrix.

Player reviews

Player opinion, separate from the quality label above. That label is our reading of what a method does; these are other people's experience of actually running it.

Spotted a problem, or played this yourself?

Freshness depends on reports from people who actually ran it.
