Dedicated VR modPCVRExcellentActive

A mod added to the existing PC game to enable VR. A dedicated VR mod built for this one game. These are normally the best experiences, because controls, menus and comfort were designed for VR rather than injected.

Experimental release

Version 1.0 targets the Steam PC release and its DirectX 11 executable only; DirectX 9 is unsupported. The project requires SteamVR 2.17 or later and the 32-bit SteamVR runtime.

The proxy adds stereo rendering, 6DoF head tracking, tracked Marine/Predator hands, gestures and gamepad emulation. The maintainer lists Quest 3 Touch controllers over Steam Link as the tested setup and says the full game has not been tested. This project is separate from Aliens versus Predator 2 VR and is not the Luke Ross R.E.A.L. framework. It is an early experimental release; PCVR Central has not tested it.

Player reviews

Player opinion, separate from the quality label above. That label is our reading of what a method does; these are other people's experience of actually running it.

Spotted a problem, or played this yourself?

Freshness depends on reports from people who actually ran it.
