Dedicated VR modPCVRPlayableActive

A mod added to the existing PC game to enable VR. A dedicated VR mod built for this one game. These are normally the best experiences, because controls, menus and comfort were designed for VR rather than injected.

Setup notes

Requirements and installation

The v0.4 package requires the player's own Aliens versus Predator 2 game, updated to build 1.0.9.6, and Windows 10 or later. The game is 32-bit. Install using the administrator batch file in the release package and configure motion-controller mappings in its INI file.

Compatibility and known issues

The maintainer reports testing Quest 2 and Quest 3 over Steam Link. Linux, Meta Link and Virtual Desktop are not documented as tested; Meta Link is cautioned against because of the game's 32-bit runtime. Some weapon models have missing faces. These are creator-reported results, not PCVR Central hardware tests.

Player reviews

Player opinion, separate from the quality label above. That label is our reading of what a method does; these are other people's experience of actually running it.

Spotted a problem, or played this yourself?

Freshness depends on reports from people who actually ran it.
