Release and scope
Separate from DR-89’s F.E.A.R. VR project. Use this author’s installer and support pages; do not mix the two packages.
Installation
Download fear-vr-v1.6.1.zip and its checksum from the release assets. Extract it completely, keep setup-files beside Setup, and install or upgrade into the base-game directory. Connect through Virtual Desktop/VDXR or Steam Link/SteamVR, then use F.E.A.R. VR.exe.
Limitations
Quest 3/Touch is the physically validated setup. Meta Quest Link/Air Link, expansions, multiplayer and Linux/Proton are unsupported. Version 1.6.1 allows language-media import; only Spanish was officially tested for that feature.
