Release and scope
Release candidate. The latest rc.63 is a test prerelease; rc.59 is the earlier public RC. These are PCVR packages, not standalone Quest apps.
Installation
Extract the complete release ZIP with setup-files beside Max Payne 2 VR Setup.exe. Run the installer, select maxpayne2.exe, then start SteamVR and launch through Steam with MP2VR_FirstPerson. Use D3D Hardware T&L acceleration.
Limitations
The creator expects bugs in this old game. PSVR2 feedback uses an optional helper; the creator documents antivirus detections and a separate no-helper test build. Review that notice rather than bypassing quarantine. Other game builds are unverified.
