Se agregó un mod al juego de PC existente para habilitar VR. Un mod de VR dedicado creado específicamente para este juego. Normalmente son las mejores experiencias, porque los controles, los menús y la comodidad fueron diseñados para VR en lugar de inyectados.

Investigación comunitaria
The public v0.4 build adds stereo and 6DoF head tracking, but the latest SnowRunner patch broke compatibility, requiring a Steam rollback; reprojection artifacts and platform/controller limits justify experimental.
Evidencia verificada: Creator README and v0.4 release checked; open issues #8–#10 reviewed, including the 2026-10-20 game update regression and tested rollback manifest.
Limitaciones conocidas
- Open issue #9 reports SnowRunner update build 25529130 (2026-10-20) broke compatibility; a Steam rollback to 2026-09-02 manifest 1449554457427833257 was the reported workaround.
- Quest 3 is the only named headset tested. Linux/Proton issue #10 reports judder; PSVR2 Sense controllers are not forwarded per issue #8.
- AER/reprojection can leave offsets on trucks/trailers and make cockpit motion feel lower-frame-rate; FXAA only is supported.
